BEFORE: Mares MK 22 1st Stage
Disassembled and ready to be ultrasonically cleaned. Note the scale and deposits of crud. This reg had clearly had salt water INSIDE it.
AFTER: Mares MK 22 1st Stage
Noticably cleaner! The discoloration is fine, as its only where chrome has been removed by corrosiom exposing the brass body.
BEFORE: Mares Proton Ice 2nd Stage
Not in bad shape at all, this nice simple regulator is easy to service. Which can be said for Mares in general, simplicity = reliability and easy servicing.
AFTER: Mares Proton Ice 2nd Stage
Similar to the 1st stage, there's some minor chrome removal but its entirely cosmetic

Another simple, easy to service regulator.

Hard to tell the difference in a photo. Another nice simple reg. Plastic construction, so no tarnishing or discoloration and easy to maintain.
